LUIS FERNANDO HERNÁNDEZ

Licenciado en Derecho (J.D. equivalent), graduated from the Universidad de Costa Rica in 1998. (with honors). Member of the Colegio de Abogados de Costa Rica (Costa Rican Bar Association) since 1998. He has a Master degree in Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Marketing, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (2002). Active attorney with experience in areas like Public Law, Corporate and Finance Law. He worked as a Consulting Attorney for the UNDP (United Nations Development Program); Special Legal Advisor in Costa Rica’s Parliament (1999-2003). He also worked as an Advisor to the Second Vice President of Costa Rica. In the academic field, he was the Head Director of the Universidad Latina’s Center for Postgraduate Studies (2003-2004). He is fluent in English and Spanish, with some knowledge on German and French.
